Week 42, 2026: A few lines
This week, I spent a little time refining Field Notes. I also spent time (slowly, on and off) this weekend rewriting the case studies on my portfolio. Lot of work.
I also finished The Secret History and picked up The Selected Poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke, though I haven’t gotten past the first couple of pages. I was quite keen on reading it, having heard a lot of good things about Rilke’s poetry. I skimmed through a few lines from the introductory chapter and, admittedly, found them quite moving.
I haven’t read much poetry apart from the poems in my English CBSE textbooks back in school. Part of the reason I picked this book up was to challenge myself. I was also reminded of a little piece I wrote a while ago, which partly prompted me to give Rilke a read.
Yesterday, some of my ex-colleagues invited me to dinner. It was nice catching up with them after a while.
