Week 38, 2026: In the meantime

This was an uneventful week. It was work-heavy, especially the second half.

I finished the first chapter of The Secret History. Progress has been slow since last week. I’ve mostly been sinking time playing Skyrim and watching random videos on YouTube. I also watched The Fellowship of the Ring yesterday.

Not much progress has gone towards making art this week either, except for loose thoughts and ideas, of which there are now two: making a 'landscape' of sorts, or working with colours (gradients, etc).

I’ve also been considering putting some of my past generative art side projects on my portfolio website, but am not sure where exactly where they’d fit. As it stands, my folio is very minimal (intentionally). I’ve also been having thoughts of having a page called “Notes” or “Writing” (or some such), and include some work-related thoughts / write-ups there? I don’t know. All I know right now is I need to make an “About” page.

I got my guitar back from my brother-in-law (he’d borrowed it from me a long time ago), and even though it’s been a long time, my fingers and my hands still “remember” how it used to feel. 🥲 (A bit like Odysseus with his bow.)
