Week 31, 2025: It’s ...Syros time?
G'day folks.
(Note to self: Once again this week, the title corniness continues. Sorry not sorry!)
Biggest news first: the car’s here! After what felt like months of waiting and tracking every dispatch update like it was a space mission, the Syros has officially landed. It's sleek, smooth, and quietly becoming part of my routine? Still feels a little surreal.
My family’s completely taken with it — my dad is very keen on driving it, which feels both flattering and mildly alarming. (Grr!)

I've been driving it around the neighborhood; slowly easing into it. Mostly short trips for now. Getting used to it.
Outside of four wheels, I’ve been back on two. I guess riding’s becoming a bit of a habit again. Nothing too fancy; just a way to step out, clear the head, and feel the wind. There’s something satisfying about cruising with no real destination. It’s been a good way to pause and take a breath.
Also, I got around to doing a health checkup yesterday. The doctor gently (read: firmly) nudged me towards joining a gym? We shall see. My weight is actually OK for my height, so no special diets for me. Although they did ask me to cut down on my junk food intake. Huh.
I haven’t been watching much of anything. No shows to report, no clever commentary on TV. Just the occasional YouTube randomness when my brain wants snackable nonsense over story arcs. I do want to get back to watching Ted Lasso, though.
Today, I played a little bit of Bloodborne. I even streamed a little bit of it on my YouTubez. (Also, if you stumble across other Bloodborne videos on my channel... yes, that was me too.) It’s still my favorite game and it always finds a way back into rotation.
Most-played song this week: Holiday, by Green Day.
Until next time!
