Week 30, 2026: Portfolio live

I was busy at work for the most part this week.

Yesterday, I finally published my portfolio. It took me a while to update it, and I am glad that it’s live now.

I also (finally) finished reading The Count of Monte Cristo yesterday. I LOVED it. It was one of the longest books I’ve read, yet (started back in Feb, this year). I think it’s one of those stories / works that will stay with me for quite a while. Whew. (Now I’m figuring out what to read next.)

Also yesterday, there was a fireworks show near where I live, celebrating 100 years of Indian Fireworks. I went to the rooftop to catch it. Pictures below. (Plus a bonus photo of The Moon.)

A large golden firework bursting over a city skyline, seen from a rooftop at night. Two golden fireworks exploding side by side above the rooftops, with smoke drifting across the night sky. The Moon glowing against a completely dark night sky.

Today, I rewatched The Odyssey with my dad. He loved it. I teared up at some of the scenes near the ending this time. Particularly during his homecoming. Not sure why. Powerful stuff. My rating for it has not changed. 5 stars.
