Week 3, 2026: New phone

This week was uneventful and mostly work-oriented.

My new phone arrived this week — the iPhone 17 Pro in “cosmic orange”. It’s my first pro phone, and deciding to take the plunge felt like a small but intentional upgrade. My old iPhone 12 had been overheating and was clearly trying to retire after a respectable five year run! (Liquid Glass remains the prime suspect.) I’ve yet to test the much-hyped pro camera features on my new phone, and that’s something I’m keen on.

I’ve been looking at buying an M65 jacket and a pair of black Converse high-tops, which I might end up doing later today. No special reason, just a random buy.

The weekend was slow and spent resting. I played Bloodborne (third playthrough), took some mini-naps, and watched a movie called The Last Castle on Netflix yesterday, which I liked.

I’ll be in Mumbai next weekend for Lollapalooza 2026 with my sister and brother-in-law, and am looking forward to that! This will be my first concert in a LONG time. I’m keen on Linkin Park (admittedly, I’ve not heard their new stuff, as I am always reminded of Chester whenever I listen). I’m not familiar with much of the rest of the lineup (except some Bloodywood songs), but am open to being surprised.
