Week 26, 2026: Resort day
This week was pretty chill. It was pleasant outside — it has been quite cloudy / rainy of late and I’m enjoying it.
There was an office outing this Wednesday at a local resort. My colleagues and I planned on making the most out of the trip and we really did. This time, I went into the pool, after a really long time (side note: I don’t know how to swim.) I went up and down all the water slides, and it was great!
I bought two items this week: yet another watch (sigh... no more after this. I promise.) and a toy camera (Kodak Charmera; I think of it more as a toy than a 'real' camera.)
I got good deals on both of them, which definitely helped. The Kodak is admittedly a tad overhyped, but I bought it mainly for the novelty factor. Some pictures from the camera, below!
It definitely feels quite retro / nostalgic, with its 1.6 megapixel camera. Reminds me of phone cameras from back in the day.
I’ve been reading Monte Cristo over the weekend; close to the end now. I started (binge) watching a Korean TV series called Teach You a Lesson yesterday. It reminds me of GTO from back in the day. Interesting premise so far.
Today, my sister came over for lunch. Apart from that, it has been one of those slow weekends.
