Week 24, 2025: Slow country
G'day folks.
Once again, this week's note will be short. It was a full week at work, and I didn’t have much left over for leisure or creative pursuits.
I bought a Bluetooth speaker on Saturday. It sounds much better than the default speakers on my iPad mini, and the difference is clear. Small joys, indeed.

Most of the weekend was spent relaxing; alternating between lying down and sitting slightly more upright. Rest, I suppose.
I finished The Idiot by Dostoyevsky this week, and started reading Dark Matter by Blake Crouch today. I'm just two chapters in, so far. (I know there's a TV adaptation, but I can't be bothered watching it.)
Here’s to hoping the next week has a bit more variety.
This week's most played song was Magical Mystery Tour, by The Beatles.
The title of this weeknote is a reference to a song called Slow Country, by Gorillaz, where nothing much happens. Re-late-able.
Until next time.
