Week 23, 2025: ½ (1 + √5)

G'day folks.

This week's note will be short, as nothing eventful happened. Mostly just work, work, work.

Over the weekend, I returned to making some generative art. I challenged myself to return to basics and create something that is simple and minimal.

It took me a while to get back into the groove, but I managed to create a simple Truchet-style grid based on the golden ratio.

Below are 2 outputs I wish to share with the world on this fine Sunday. (I want to keep building on this mini-project.)

Maths is wonderful. And this is coming from a person who absolutely sucked at maths in school. Well, in terms of my academics anyway... Artistic applications notwithstanding, it's pretty damn handy to understand certain concepts, if I do say so myself.
