Week 12, 2026: Back, slowly

I know I’ve been away too long. The past few weeks have been little heavy.

I’ve mainly been taking care of my Dad who got hospitalized and diagnosed with something serious. This morning, I received a bit of a good news that things are now under control. Here’s to easier days ahead.

So how have I been doing? I am not entirely sure. One day at a time, I suppose. I’ve also been journaling to cope with all of these changes all happening at once.

Anyway, I kinda want to return to my dry voice with these week notes. So. ahem.

This week was bookended by karaoke nights with Francis and my sister at their place. Once last Sunday, and again yesterday. Nice how some things repeat. Today, we were up until 5AM singing louder than necessary. This morning, I’ve been coughing quite a bit, and my voice is not at its best. It will recover.

Work has been a bit of a return as well. I think I’m finding my footing again. Progress is being made. Slow, steady.

In other news, I will be traveling with the fam to BLR on Thursday this next week, and that is something I’m looking forward to.

And then on the Good Friday weekend, a few colleagues and I have another outing planned. So my wish to travel more this year seems to be working out. Not too bad.

Other than that, it’s been fairly uneventful these past couple weeks. I’ve also been having more LIITs than usual this past month. Something that I will be correcting. I rewatched Dhurandhar yesterday — some homework for the sequel next week. Also, I’ve either been playing Rise of the Tomb Raider (PS5), or GTA V. I’ve also been wanting to get back into reading, and I might do that.
